Email cyrus@pastelero.ph and I'll get back to you. Below are the things that go wrong most often.
The other phone isn't showing up
- Check that both phones are on the same wifi network, not one on wifi and one on mobile data.
- Some cafe and hotel networks isolate devices from each other on purpose. On a network like that, phones can't see each other and DUWA can't work. A personal hotspot between the two phones is the usual way around it.
- If you tapped “Don’t Allow” on the local network prompt, turn it back on in Settings › DUWA › Local Network.
- Have the host restart the room. The joining phones will find it again within a few seconds.
Someone dropped out mid-game
If a player leaves, the game keeps going for everyone else. If the host leaves, the room closes and everyone lands back on the menu — the host’s phone is the one actually running the game.
The game feels laggy
Everything runs over your local wifi, so distance from the router and how busy the network is both matter. Standing closer together usually fixes it.
Deleting your data
Delete the app. Your nickname and scores go with it, because that is the only place they ever were.
